Chichester - pubs near the station?
Feeling a bit noirvus but where better to ask for first date advice than here??? Chichester train station. Beerintheevening says there are several pubs nearby but personal experience would help here. It's DELICATE.

I ain't paying £5 for her fucking large Sauvignon either so if there's a Spoons that'd be bob on. Ta.

I am familiar with Chichester.

There are three pubs near the station and they're all fucking shit, especially the "sports bar".

I hope this has been of some assistance.

Well that's armed me with plenty to knock her fucking bandy with.

Re: CHICHESTER - pubs near the station?
Just walk up South St. Plenty of bars to try. Only proper pub is The Fountain, and The Globe (sports bar) is bad. If you make it as far as the cross turn left into West St, there's a couple of places opposite the cathedral.

For a good night out bring her down to my Yard in Fishbourne and have a look at all of our granite and quartz slabs, watch out for rats though.

The GLOBE. Ticks all the boxes, Dave son.

Re: CHICHESTER - pubs near the station?
Go out the station and bung a LEFT. Walk down through the town to the crossroads with the monument, take another LEFT. Down on the right is a Wetherspoons - THE DOLPHIN.

Thank me later.

Re: CHICHESTER - pubs near the station?
Quite like the look of the GLOBE but it gives me an uncomfortable feeling. Is it haunted? These places normally are. It also appears to be a 'Sports' bar. Will there be shirts mounted inside glass hanging from the walls which could fall off and cause a head injury?

Spoons? Now you're talking, nosnhoJ.

Well, my advice on a straight forward BUNK UP seems a bit tame now?

Re: CHICHESTER - pubs near the station?
NEVER drink in The Globe, David, it's a shithole.

I spent two years living in Chichester pretty much and went in the Globe three times.

I stayed in the Ship Hotel a while ago.

Prolly out of your price range though, Dave son?

Re: CHICHESTER - pubs near the station?
The first beer I ever had in a pub was in The Globe, a very very long time ago.

If you stayed in rooms 6, 9 or 10 I dogged my bed in the bed you slept in P.

Cheers.

Re: CHICHESTER - pubs near the station?
LOL

They left little teddy bears on the bed when I got in the room, not sure what the room number was though. It had a shitty en suite, that much I do know!

The thin one with everything in single file?

Re: CHICHESTER - pubs near the station?
I think it was formerly a different room, on a slightly lower level.

The bath/shower fitments were archaic.
